YUVRAJ SHIVRAJ SINGH 3 The Yuvraj of Jodhpur started polo while in school in England where he played for Eton College and continued to play at university in Oxford. Usually playing at the No.2 position he has lead the Eagles to some fine victories in India and abroad and was short listed for the Indian Team for the 2001 World Cup in Australia. Among many other tournaments he has won the prestigious Sir Pratap Cup in Delhi twice, the Willingdon Cup in Bombay and the Darbhanga Cup in Calcutta. The Yuvraj has also played in Argentina, Brazil, France, Spain, Egypt, Kenya, Zambia, South Africa and Singapore. RAJ KUMAR KARAN VIJAY SINGH 3 The veteran of the team, R.K. Karan Vijay Singh was one of Jodhpur's first players in recent times and has also played professionally. In a career spanning over ten years he has won, at one time or the other, every tournament in India, including the biggest, the I.P.A. Cup in Calcutta. He has played in the U.S., Brazil, England, Portugal, Kenya, Zambia and South Africa. For the Eagles he brings his experience to bear at the No.3 position, the vital pivot. KANWAR HARSHVARDHAN SINGH 3 The elder son of Jodhpur veteran Col.Th.Kishen Singh (See The Golden Age) Kanwar Harshvardhan Singh is the "old man" of the Jodhpur group and lends his vast experience of horse-management and horsemanship to the younger players. His contribution towards setting up the first Jodhpur strings was considerable and he continues to make some of the finest polo ponies in India today. KANWAR NIKHILENDRA SINGH 2 Playing at Back for the Eagles, long-hitting Kanwar Nikhilendra Singh has toured Brazil, France, Kenya and Zambia. He has worked and played under the redoubtable Claire Tomlinson at the Beaufort Polo Club in England, and helped take polo back to the great steppes as a Founder-Member of the Chengiz Khan Polo Club in Mongolia. On the domestic circuit he has won many tournaments including his great-great grandfather's trophy, the Sir Pratap Cup. MR.JAISAL SINGH 2 Originally from Delhi, Mr.Jaisal Singh, the baby of the side, is more or less based in Rajasthan. Extremely talented, he is, on a good day, able to find the goals from near impossible angles and is a very valuable No.1 for the Eagles. He has played in France, Kenya and Zambia and has several tournament victories on the domestic calendar. BHANWAR YOGESHWAR SINGH 2 The youngest of the Jodhpur "youngsters", Bhanwar Yogeshwar Singh is the son and grandson of polo players. He has represented India in a juniors tournament in Columbia, where he won the Most Valuable Player Award, and has also played in Africa. KANWAR MANVENDRA SINGH 1 A new entrant to the Jodhpur club Kanwar Manvendra Singh played most of his early polo in Jaipur. Two years ago he burst onto the scene as a -2 with a string of impressive victories including a 14 Goal Tournament victory in Delhi. KANWAR DHANANAJAYA SINGH 0 A late starter, Kanwar Dhananajaya Singh more than made up for it with a hat-trick of tournament victories in his debut season. In the process he also became the first Jodhpuri in recent times to win the coveted Maharaja of Jodhpur's Cup...
