The Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls' Public School was born on 20th July,1992, under the aegis of the H.H. Maharaja Hanwant Singhji Charitable Trust, and with the spirit of Gyanam Brahm, Knowledge is God, permeating its campus of 4.5 acres, formerly picnic land in the Raika Bagh Palace estate. The school is affiliated to the C.B.S.E, and a prestigious panel of eminent citizens and educationists constitutes its Board of Governors. The campus has extensive green lawns and luxuriant shady trees which help to keep the school dust free, and well lit, airy classrooms, a large library and well-equipped laboratories in addition to the games fields and courts. The year 2000, the beginning of the new millennium, was a turning point in the young life of the eight year old center of learning; the opening of the pre-primary section with a nursery, kindergarten and preparatory classes in full strength, and the admission for the first time of boys in the primary section; an outstanding academic performance by the class of 2000 and their successful placement in good colleges thereafter, the formation of an old girls' society called the Aarkakians, exciting moments in games and sports, as well as co-curricular activities, and an enthusiastic group of boarders in our hostel have contributed to the school's enhanced status as a premier public school in Rajasthan.
